If you are PLD you only want to tanking (otherwise you are wasting a DPS slot)

Tank him where he spawns your back to the wall, when he jumps run forwards a bit and then pull him back, as a Tank you need to keep him positioned correctly otherwise plumes will appear in the wrong place and kill your party members.
