    Mouse buttons stop working

    Ive had a few times this hapening to me, inside the tower of the dead ive sometimes lost the ability to use buttons nr 1 and 2 (left and right clicks), nr 3 and nr 4 still work.

    If i tab out of the game i can normaly use the mouse, so its only ocurring inside the game and to fix it im forced do exit the game and retart it, makes trying solo tower of the dead abit hard.

    If i could get some help, it would be great, ty

    Still having this issue, even on dungeons, anyone with the same issue that can help me?

    We would like to further assist with this matter. Please provide the following information:

    1) Which make/model for the mouse are you using?

    2) Is the mouse wired or wireless? Which connectivity method is being used? USB, bluetooth? Please clarify.

    3) Do you have a controller hooked up when using the mouse and keyboard or you only using a mouse and keyboard?

    4) Which platform are you playing the game on? Windows PC, Mac, Playstation 4 or 5?

    5) Does the issue occur in a specific spot or when you perform a specific action? Please clarify.

    Hello

    1- its a Kolt nxkromkolt
    2 - Its wired by usb
    3 - no controler just mouse+keyboard
    4 - Im on PC
    5 - it has hapened on both dungeon and open world

    I simply loose the ability to press right and left mouse buttos, the nr 3 and 4 still work, the pointer still moves and if i tabe out the left and right key word just right on the desktop, word, excel, firefox, tabing again to the game makes it not work again, only solution is to exit and reenter the game

    If possible are you able to try and use a different mouse? Additionally does this issue occur after the mouse drivers are updated? Also, does this mouse issue only occur in Final Fantasy XIV?

    Sorry but only have this mouse avaiable.
    Drivers are updated and from the several games i play it only happens on ff 14.

    Good afternoon and thank you for the reply.

    Could you try doing the following:

    Try disabling background applications and do a clean boot by opening the task manager and selecting the “Start up” tab. Disable everything and then restart the PC.

    Additionally does this issue happen if the mouse is plugged into another USB port on the PC?

    ty for the help but i just decided to buy a new mouse from a different brand to solve this issue and so far its been ok, no issues, ty again for the nice replies.
