Anima Relic Weapon Replica without glow not an option?

I've been trying to put together some good job glamours, but I noticed there were no version of my NIN HW relic (Sandungs and Sandungs Lux) that doesn't have the glow effect on it. Looking it up, it seems like there really has been no option to have these relics without their glow effect applied to them like every other relic weapon in the game.

Is there something I'm missing or a reason given for this, or is it likely an oversight? A lot of these weapon models look really nice, but the lack of an option to disable the glow like all other relic weapon lines means they become less viable for certain glamour aesthetics.

Sadly, no, there are no non-glowing versions of the Lux/completed anima weapons. They have included crafted weapons that share models with the Zodiac weapons (without the glow) so maybe there will be something similar for the anima in the future

Dang, was really holding out hope. Really love designs like the PLD and DRK weaps, and the glows are *nice*, but I wouldn't wanna use them all the time. Can only hope they implement something like you say, or go back and add non-glow replicas as an option.

Without the glows some of the finished Anima weapons look pretty generic, especially the DRK and PLD weapons. lol But while I don't understand the desire to downgrade, I'm not against non glow replicas.

I just quite like the designs. The PLD and DRK ones for instance are quite large but not too thick blades, which isn't too common as far as those categories go. The glows are def cool! Just not always looking to be all glowy

The only non-glow anima weapon replica can be obtained with crafted level 70 nightsteel weapons, although the color is way different than original anima weapon...
