Please Give Support For Solo Savage Raids

I would like to see more hard content available to solo players, but I don't think creating a savage raid for solo is the answer to that. Especially not if the rewards will be comparable to the 8-man versions.

For savage raids if one purely want the loot, the solution already exists for the most part through unrestricted party. You will have to wait maybe 2 expansions to be able to solo it but the possibility is there.

I would very much like for some older raids to be very slightly adjusted though, to make them possible to solo at all. As it stands there are some duties that are, and will always be, impossible to solo due to certain fight mechanics, regardless of increases in stats and player power.
One example is the nisi debuff from A4S. If you're a solo player in this raid you'll get both nisi debuffs and die instantly once you start attacking the 4th leg. A slight change of this debuff from inflicting 'death' to dealing say.. 9999k damage and making it possible to survive with a tank invulnerability ability would make it possible to solo, and have little impact on normal plays.

I have been trying to clear P3S in PF for 3 weeks. And, not just progging, this is a "clear" where I have seen enrage and just want it to be done. I moved to EU from US and now im cursed with the time difference for a functioning static membership...

I wish I could give you any advice besides, "just dun give up", but I can't.

Every day I try, I tried with higher item level, any chest, trying to adapt to any strategies that other people want. Man I go to the moon and back if thats what you want me to do, to finally clear. But people just keep messing up the mechs...

Then when we finally have the mechs, we have at least 2-3 DC and 1 person being angry about their barse so they leave... when we are sooo close.

I should actually start recording my suffering and see what comes out of it, cause boi, oh boi I have seen some shit.

I’ve cleared p1s, p2s and p3s in Crystal PF. So I can sympathize. There’s a huge inconsistency issue when it comes to real players, I admit. And sometimes it’s basically rng who you get.

I don't know what the real solution is, but I feel like everything 20+ levels below the current max level should be made soloable at max level unsynced because by then the content AND the gear are extremely obsolete and only wanted purely for glam.

Found a party for Alphascae 4 savage even tho I had a mount. We got all 6 mounts for the rest. Then I sadi that I wanted a chestpiece from that fight and party agreed to go 2 more times for me. We wiped and spent like 2 hours overall yet everyone were nice and patient.

Recently We 2 friends cleared Gaia. Found a party in PF, sat there 5 hours with one patient amazing person who showed us some mechs and described them. And after 5 hours we all had our mounts and gear. Some ppl left, same 5 stayed even if we wiped every 2nd pull.

Idk how it is over on your DC, but in my experience it's not very hard to keep party together if you're being nice and patient with them tbh. aAnd even if they disband - you place party in PF again and do something on the side

I understand what the OP is talking about.

Been trying to do Omega Raids unsynced, and asking people to follow instruction / video. LOOK at my party call outs, just flies over their head and you get bothersome replies of "LOL oh, I didnt' see party chat kekw" or "kekw I didn't watch the video checking now" after 10 wipes cause of this individual.

Add this to time wasted, because for some reason in THIS MMO specifically, once 1 person leaves it's a stupid domino effect that everyone leaves.
But then you go and say "No, please follow my instruction!" you get called out as an aggressive / angry leader of the group and then they just troll your run.

So it's a build up, and frustration of probably weeks of work with 0 results because of people / PF / "Its my sub" chads. All You're asking is to pay attention / watch the video

And unfortunately, you cannot solo ANY of the Savage versions of Omega, just like how you can't solo Alexanders (Savage) Manipulator or Brute Justice due to 1 shot mechanics that outright kill you.

This is also 20+ levels of obsolete gear that will most likely never be used, unless it's gear used somewhere I don't know about. Which I doubt it IS used.

Does someone who just started playing FF14 seeing all this inaccessible gear care? I think so.

Yeah, ok.jpg. It should remain difficult for it's time, it should remain difficult SYNCED (This is the option for the difficulty purpose) for those who WANT To experience it difficult can easily do, however, for Glam purposes? Obsolete armors and weapons you use for 5-10 levels of the bracket?

There is the reason it's still difficult! I just answered my question. Savage gear is locked to being "Difficult" cause it can carry you 10 levels. Leveling is definitely the reason.

Glam farming is the hardest part of the game, ultra levels of suffering OP, good luck.

PS; I've been at it for over 3 months in PF, teaching and telling people how to do omega runs, so it might take me a year to collect the sets.

Pretty soon folks will want the entire game to be doable solo. Then they'll complain about how anti social the game is and how nobody talks.

Put a pf up, join an fc/ask your fc mates or hop onto some discords. Introversion is not an excuse and shouldn't be something devs need to compensate for in an MMO. And say this as an introvert myself. Yeah it sucks but if I want things done I have to reach out. Keep AI teammates away from anything to do with Savage new and old. Keep that dev time on better things I say
