Maybe it's time to implement good system to find people/groups to do content in game atleast (LFG static LFM for static)? No one cares about party finder listnings and also why would i afk 24/7 to have my listning in party finder?

I'm a bit baffled they haven't implemented something like this yet when it's pretty standard in modern MMOs.

Fellowships don't require you to be online and would support what you're looking for.

Of course the whole Fellowship feature is trash and rather painful to keep up with. The Fellowship notification sound is so faint and sounds like MogMail. There's no other notification for it. The top level Fellowship UI doesn't (or didn't) tell you which Fellowships have new messages or updated MotD's. Yet another good idea died because UI/UX isn't a skill Square has figured out yet.

If you want reliable people, make a static or join an FC. If you want to do stuff on your own, then I suggest you go Warrior and unsync everything and go in as a level 90. FFXIV is an MMORPG, as such, you are required to group up with others to get stuff done.

If you want to do solo stuff, do what Ronduwil said.

I suggest you to make some friends.
It is not that difficult in FF14 compares to WoW, when your FC mate is asking for help, go help them
Just matter of time you will get people to help you on what you need

No, having a party-reliant mechanics is what makes savage what it is, play by the rules, if you don't want to deal with throwing yourself at PF until you get a good group or deal with the logistics of creating/finding a static, no shinies for you.

It's good that some old fights can't be cleared through brute force like that, I wish it would be the case for all of them.

As someone with an irregular play schedule due to RL obligations, my "making friends" usually results in a bunch of people strung out over their own prime play times where I'd maybe be able to herd 2-3 together, but hardly enough for 8-man things. And even with planning ahead, it'd probably only result in a small handful of runs before one would have to bail.

From their perspective, I also come off as the flaky, unreliable friend since if they want something and I'm not around, the odds of them returning the favor also isn't what I'd call the best. And color me cynical, but I rarely expect anyone to do anything solely out of the goodness of their heart.

Have you considered not worrying about the gear treadmill and say, doing literally anything you want instead?

Savage and extremes are some of the most social content in the game; turning them into solo duties would cripple their purpose.
