BUT (and I posted this elsewhere). I REALLY wish that they would have brought the characters from the job quests into the role quests of that type. I would have loved doing the Magical DPS role quest with ‎X'rhun Tia, Arya, Lalai, and Y'mhitra. It would be cool to see cross interaction between what are essentially some of the strongest non-Scions of their job.

I personally think that was the way to go, so we can continue to interact with those characters and build their story out. I feel like 1 quest isn't really "enough" to do anything meaningful (now that the stories are concluded) and coming up with a quest line for each job has shown to be an "issue."
But thats the thing, the stories really haven't been concluded. Each and every single one of them was open-ended at level 80. RDM especially. Multiple of them even talk about coming back to you if they needed something, or that you'd meet again. Saying that the story is "concluded" isn't really a valid argument to discontinue the quests. If that same thought process applied to the game as a whole, Endwalker would be the last expansion, and we know that isn't the case.
