Omni-90 Achievement Reward is Disappointing -- No Mount

Greetings everyone!

Here are my thoughts regarding the Migratory Plume headpiece rewarded for the achievement "A Life of Adventure V." I don't usually post on here and didn't see an existing thread; sorry if the subject has already been raised.

I love my sweet Amaro and I think it's a fair reward for obtaining level 80 on all jobs. It could have used a distinct barding, but happy nevertheless. I can't say the same with the Migratory Plume -- it's not even dyeable. I feel like the ball got dropped on this one and our community should offer input for future rewards so we aren't left feeling demotivated.

What do you think? Non-dyeable headpiece for omni-90s? Would you rather have a uniquely designed mount, minion, or something else altogether?

I plan to level all of my jobs to 90 but...yeah, that's pretty lackluster. I'm definitely not doing it for that. I can always appreciate a new mount, though I'd settle for just about anything that isn't that headpiece.

Yeah... while I was not a huge fan of the Amaro mount per se, it at least tied directly to the story - so definitely a "feel good" mount.

This however... not sure what this is...

Silly hats have been the reward 4 out of 5 times, and only one of them was ever dyeable. I'm not sure why anyone is shocked by this.

I agree the hat is stupid and I'd rather have a different reward (Argos minion?), but I also don't feel like it's worth complaining about.

I have the amaro mount and I never used it and never will. It's just a completion thing at this point. Same would be with a minion if not worse, we have so many minions and plenty of mounts, that I'm only ever gonna use my favourite few.

So unless it's an extremely beautiful mount for my tastes, it's gonna sit there unused. This hat instead might be something I'll use, it does look pretty. And t probably fits all races, unlike most headgears? Though I do wish it was dyable indeed.

I think there are complainment threads somewhere in this forum about "gating a mount" behind an almost impossible task like leveling all classes to 80 (back in SB)

I imagine they moved back to a headpiece as a reward so players don't feel like they must level all jobs to get a significant reward, especially one that is as lore relevant as the amaro is.

If you don't feel the reward is worth the effort, then there's really no need to level all the jobs unless you really like leveling jobs.

It's a boring and ugly reward for a heavy grind achievement. The only reason I would bother leveling to 90 for every class is to ensure they are ready for leveling in the next expansion, on the off chance the reward won't completely suck next time.

Once I earn this reward I will be discarding it to save inventory and glamour slots. If you want the headpiece for glamours? Just go to Qitana Ravel and get any of the headpieces from there. Basically the same thing. Junk item.

Thats the thing, the max level on all chars is not as difficult or even time consuming as many think, going from 80 to 90 takes a week of absolute minimal effort by just doing roulettes. It just feels overwhelming to get the jobs up there the first time, after that its just "yea this week i do roulettes on mnk" and if you feel like "i cant play this on a high level and dont care" MSQ roulette is your friend, i personally have 1 job i just cant stand but having all but one would be kinda silly as well.

or even better, frontlines roulette/tails if you hate that job so much you don't wanna touch it at all anymore.

But yeah really, maxing all jobs is very easy and something very common. Also a good way to understand what others in your group are doing.
It's a pretty common thing to have so I'll neve rthink they didn't give us a mount this time because a mount can't be tied to something so hard. It's more a completonism reward. There are plenty fo mounts tied to actually hard stuff like savages, even BLU savage, DRS and BA. And mount tied to stuff increadibly grindy, like thousands of S ranks killed or x high -end duties as tank. Even the saucer mounts some would say are grindy. nevermind the Exes. Mounts not taking a day to obtain or rare is good, and in the case of omni-caap that's something people do regardless of rewards but it's nice to see an actual decent reward for it.
