Lets talk about minions

This is a bit of a tough question for me because a few of my actual favourite minions are ones I never use. I love the snowy owl minion and the Nier pod minions.. but I always find myself clicking on them while I'm playing so they just become more annoying than lovable after I click on them instead the gathering node or the enemy I'm trying to target for the 20th time. They just happen to always fly in right around the same area where I have my camera angled. So, yeah, pretty much all of the flying minions are kind of out of the running for me as far as minions I actually use.

As for minions I actually do use, it's a toss up between the spriggan (dust bunny) and the tonberry. I love them both and they don't have the "argh get out of the way" factor that the flying minions do. I also really like the minion you receive at the end of the 6.0 MSQ but it still personally feels like it would be too spoilery to use it in most areas of the game.

My Wind-up Bahamut. I love how he hops around with a Dalamud eggshell on his head. And then when it tries to float away he jumps up, grabs it and puts it back on his head again. What's not to love?

I like the Wee Ea minion...though that stems partly from the fact that it's involved in spawning one of the Endwalker S ranks and I'm just too lazy to change it out for something else.

currently i'm using the wee ea, i really like the idle animation they have. otherwise i use the golden dhyata because i like how small it is.

For sure, I quite like the dhyata as well. It's cool, relatively rare to see around, and one of the few flying minions that never seems to get in the way for me. Not sure if it's the small size or that it seems like it flies in a different space than most of the flyers, but I don't think I've ever accidentally clicked it while I've had it out.

I wish more of them did that.
