Southern hemisphere is sailing into winter now. You summer people get the Hawaiian shirt glamour (again).

The garo set for gunbreaker is also just the aiming set and as (former) drk main I am very salty about not having access to the dope gnb makai armor.

The male aiming set makes such a good GNB glamour.

Female set, not so much.

The female healer gear might have been the better choice to borrow? Striking would have been absolute best but that got used for reaper.

Hoping for gender unlocks soon.

I quite like those cardigans; am hoping the red parts dye (pet bugbear is how much red accessories adorn the glamours and creates issues clashing with the colours I like).

As for cross-job glams, yes. It should be a thing. Take a leaf out of the GW2 book: "here's your item, pick your stats" (stats can be shown on a pop-up, or drop-down menu from the item itself in your inventory). Ensure stats for the job being played are specifically highlighted and wrong stats greyed out, cannot be selected or just don't appear; means you get a nice glam, the right stats and the materia slots/buffs take care of the rest. Extra brownie points if they can somehow code it where you can equip the item on any job and the stats adjust accordingly (though your materia mileage will of course vary, but once the stats are no longer relevant that won't be an issue anyway, it's just another glam in the dresser?).

Course, I don't know how feasible that is for FFXIV's inner spaghetti, but figured it's worth mentioning in case it's something someone somewhere can do something about.

Would just be nice to use some nice pieces from other roles for DNC, since so much of Aiming is geared towards MCH most of the time! Even BRD gets short-changed by this, but at least they have more AF gear to play with. And ironically Scouting shares most of Aiming’s jewelry but Aiming doesn’t get any of Scouting’s glam! Someone said in the newer thread that once it goes into the dresser it should automatically become glam-only and be available for any class and I second that.

This is a different topic technically, but it’s been mentioned before that merging scouting and aiming, as well as maiming and striking, not only makes gearing more jobs a little faster, but also reduces to total item load by quite a lot, even if only for gear moving forward. Both those pairs already share accessories, and their stats are largely identical anyway.

Dancers really have that very specific aesthetics that are rarely catered to when we get dungeon, raids or other collection set. The last I remember was Pagl'than, but that if you don't mind the barbaric vibe to the gear. It's really hard to retain that Thavnairian Dancer silhouette without relying on the two AF sets and a few cosmetic glamours.

Yeah.... We need more dancer themed gear. I love the job, but need to use parts of our job sets to keep the image of dancer.
