We really should be able to glamour other jobs' sets

Still salty. Ive suddenly decided to got for omni 90 on every combat job but now is majorly depressed that I wont have space to have a dedicated unique outfit for every job due to not enough glam plate space. This could easily be resolved by allowing unrestricted glamour but oh well...

If it was up to me i would have at least 5 glamours set per jobs.
I like having different "genres" of glams (medieval, modern, western, futuristic, tribal, etc...) but both the restricted glamour and the lack of plates makes this impossible.
I'm stuck with 1 plates per jobs, and some have to share.

yeah thats the big bummer. Currently the 20 plates we have is enough for the 20 combat jobs but like I said, I also have omni 90 on my crafter/gather jobs and there's some really nice unique outfits for every one of those as well. It seriously sucks that I have to share glams for those and lose out of that unique versatility but at least if we were able to have unrestricted glamour, having shared glams wouldnt be so bad since you'll have the novelty to have some jobs outfits also fit for other roles.

Biggest example for me is to have my traditional Paladin look also be for White Mage as in other FF games paladins are capable white magic users.

Something I'd love to see though might be difficult to implement would be auto-glamour for hot/cold climates and when there's bad weather. I like to swap glamour to something warmer when I travel to places like Ishgard or Garlemald, but I can't do that if I randomly get Snowcloak in my roulettes for example, and I'd like to look dressed for the weather personally. Also it'd be nice to get more weather-focused glamour, like different styles of raincoats or hoods that actually look nice. Maybe the auto-glamour only works when you zone into places rather than on-the-fly since that might be hard to do if it suddenly starts raining or snowing or something and you're flying around. Slightly off topic I suppose, but thought I'd toss that in.

kinda reminds me of How RDRII allows you to carry a separate set of clothes for weather's.

but it's a decent idea, though seeing how some characters just Blatantly ignore the weather.[and how we aren't entirely immune to ignoring the weather if we wish. Ala Manderville]
I guess it just depends on the person.

But yeah, unrestricted glam system would be a godsent. Alchemist AF 80 & 90 gear are my favourite, I want to use it for combat jobs.

And frankly, if it's me, I prefer if they fix glam system first before graphic overhaul. Then overhaul character creation, and lastly graphic overhaul.

Same, working on getting everything to 90 right now and managing plates is proving to be super painful.

I'm still bothered how I can use the same "lvl 1 all class" outfit from mogstation on every single job, but can't use the same set of fantasy gear on both my Reaper and Ninja...

I would also love the small QoL change to let us pick from individual glamour plate slots.

For example, on glamour plate #03 I would click a checkbox [Select individual pieces] so I would be able to activate just the head slot.

Currently I CAN do this already, using this example, I would have to unequip everything but the head item, and then equip everything back. This is so just to make this process a little less janky.

agreed! let my crafter's/healers wear my aetheryte earring in glam! Let me mix and match my clothes! npc get to cross glam we should be allowed it too! >(
