We really should be able to glamour other jobs' sets

I don't get why they are so adamant on having those role locks at this day and age.
The only real reason I can really think of is that people will realize how lazy they have gotten in designing new armour cause they really only design 2 new sets for ALL JOBS (see EW dungeon gear drops).
And it doesn't help that many in between gear are recolors of previous gear which quite ironically isn't even ported to another role for the most part.

It's just pure lazyness at this point but people somehow still defend them for it

Consider a lot JP player are glams enthusiast. Mind you, Skyrim is one of the most played western RPG in Japan. That should tell you a lot about JP player opinion regarding glamour related topic.

I would rather not frame something as labour intensive as gear design as lazy. But surely if it is such a drain on resources to keep pumping out new sets then allowing us to fully utilize the glut of wonderful pieces we have already would go a long way in lightening the design teams workload x_x

Hopefully for Caster BattleMage, The Current Credenum could be Mixed and match with other glamour to make a decent one. more so with Dual Dye.

The badnews, it's not enough to cover all that we could have.

Unlike with other topics with job identity(Like Seraphism, which if we removed Glamour Locks, would be the PEAK job identity) Gear has no real connection anymore, unless you're specifically after classic. and that won't just disappear after opening up the Glamour locks.

Pictomancer doesn't look like a traditional caster at all.

Who bet they'll look better with the scouting sets rather than the casting ones? Heck, even Krile's redesign made her 'obviously mage' attire into something that looks like a mobile scout/adventurer.

It really is ridiculous how the caster motif always is black robes when mages in final fantasy got some amazing variety, black robes, elaborate clothes, full plate in any and all colors.
