We really should be able to glamour other jobs' sets

My point is this:

The argument of “but it’s job gear” has 0 substance. Because it doesn’t matter what the gear actually looks like. All that matters is the idea that some gear that could once be worn only by one job is wearable by multiple. And we know this because no one complains about non-restrictive gear that looks too similar to artifact gear. Like the most recent heavensturn set which is indistinguishable from Samurai artifact gear, or the Thavnarian set from ARR that looks indistinguishable from Dancer gear.

If it were actually about identity, then players who don’t like the idea of removing role restrictions such as yourself should be equally upset about gear that can be equipped by more or all jobs that steals from existing job identity.

If they released a set of level 1 gear wearable by all jobs that were “white mage inspired” or something that looked almost identical to white mage’s arfact gear, no one would bat an eye. But if that same set were released as the level 100 relic set, that would inspire defensive reactions to people wanting it wearable in all jobs.

I'm just gonna leave it at that , the game has bigger priorities to address than unlocking af gear , and I'll say again that second life is more suited tova lot of people's wants and desires than FF, should look into it

And that's an issue when? Either they're standing in an AoE in which case you can just click them. Or you want to heal a role, in which just hit the hotkey (F1-8 by default) or click them on the party list. Or, turn on job icon next to names.

Any of these options are more reliable than trying to pick out a specific class to "save" on the field by their appearance. If you're making a stink about someone's glam because you screwed up with all the above options, that's really on you.

is you wouldn't need to fkin make duplicate sets of gear that's exactly the same thing but with different colors just because the mirror of this set of shorts is only for RPR/MNK/DRG and not SAM/NIN/whatever idek man is going on with the GARO pvp glamour

This sounds like the least likely thing to ever happen, especially with the party list and job icons. It also has nothing to do with job gear unless you want to advocate that job gear is the only gear that can be worn because if there is an all class glam set, two players could still look the same.

This is a completely overused and meaningless phrase. Priorities are entirely subjective. If someone thinks unlocking glam is the biggest priority in the game, then that's the biggest priority in the game. You can set your personal list however you like, but no one else's.

If you can tell people apart by their glamour in the first place while having camera pulled all the way back to the ceiling, with them propably standing far away and battle effects going off. and perhaps mobs standing around.

Who uses cover in pve? You need to get better at trolling.

Thing is, I don't even care about relic armor personally. I have no interest in using any of it as glamour. I just find appeal to tradition arguments to be an insult to my intelligence as they are the antithesis of logic and reason.

Guess I'm gonna cause a lot of wipes then because I'm wearing armoured boots, an aiming top and I've got a scythe but I'm not playing as a tank or a phys ranged or a reaper.

Like the bikinis and elephants and frogs make anything clearer.
