When I saw that we were going from Broil III at 290 potency in ShB to Broil IV at 295 potency in EW, I was shaking with how excited I was. I couldn't believe they were so generous with a whole 5 potency. I'm going to probably scream in excitement when 7.0 comes out and Broil V hits 300 potency, playing SCH going to be WILD once it hits 300!!!
One fear I have is that the devs might 'compromise' by having something like a massive grind for every piece of unrelated job gear that you want to wear. I remember how Bungie forums had threads asking for transmog even before Destiny (1) released, and it took them a decade and a sequel to finally introduce it - except when it released the feature was quite grindy.
Still better than no option at all, I suppose.
I very much doubt theyll make it that obtuse but I guess you never know with SE.One fear I have is that the devs might 'compromise' by having something like a massive grind for every piece of unrelated job gear that you want to wear. It would really depend on how they approach it from like a technical standpoint. Do they figure out a way to detach Glamour from Equipment altogether (which would be ideal, if you ask me), or stick to their tried and true Replica method (which would be more conducive to having actual gameplay associated with it)?
Unless they would make us craft some "super glamour prisms" or do a questline to acquire "the very special glamour dresser" I doubt how they could block us from using that option, or why they would do it. Also that would probably require having both systems at the same time, so even more trouble with rewriting code
Sounds like a coding nightmare but also the sort of thing I can't say I wouldn't see them doing.
I would gladly give up the "try on" functionality if they could somehow use the try on preview window as the base for unrestricted glam. It's right there, in game, happily displaying everything no problem. aAAAAAA
There are so many sick ass Gatherer and Crafter glam options, I am all for this! Also glammable hairstyles, haircolor and facial options ♥.
Pretty much this. The fact that the game encourages you to get every job; each with their own sets and yet you lack both the glam plate space and the freedom to mix and match appearances like come on.
