Given the apparent complexities of the system, I doubt they can just hire a bunch of people not trained in its specifics and expect them to solve it without cutting into the other staff's time. You know if they said they had to a hire a bunch of interns to get this done and unlocking an improved glamour system is simply going to cost half an expansion because that's what it took to do the rework without pulling the regular staff busy on other things, I'd purchase it.
At least let us be able to glam the DoH/DoL ones.
Some of the level 50 ones can be used as glams, why not the others?
Yep, YoshiP denied the suggestion several times since ARR. He doesn't like the idea of a black mage wearing tank armor. Or a Monk wearing Dragoon maiming gear, that'd look too weird. People should let it go.
There is a reason melee don't share a set between all of them compared to tanks and healers, aside from loot reasons.
But someone tanking in a bikini or a stupid animal costume doesn't look "too weird"? I think it's about time we put that argument to rest...
So? Argument still stands, they want job identity not just anyone wearing heavy tank gear.
Cash shop, and special events have been in the game forever, that's a small amount compared to role exclusive gear. I tank with the casual hoodie, leather pants, and those Vans casual shoes.
Unfortunately that attitude would make him a hypocrite if you would look at the list i made earlier, along with the fact that there are plenty of sets anyone can wear no matter what role as well as them completely ignore their own selfsame restrictions when designing npcs.Yep, YoshiP denied the suggestion several times since ARR. My tinfoil theory is they don't want to because dropping role swapped reskins is a tried and true method of shaving development time from dungeon loot pools.
The line between role gear is so blurred that this is the only reason I can think as to why they are so firmly against it. Least we forget, Striking and Healing shared an armor set in Eden.
Also tank and healer shares an exclusive look with the lvl 68 Gazelleskin coat of fending/healing...My tinfoil theory is they don't want to because dropping role swapped reskins is a tried and true method of shaving development time from dungeon loot pools.

Gowns vs Boleros are not the same.My tinfoil theory is they don't want to because dropping role swapped reskins is a tried and true method of shaving development time from dungeon loot pools.
