    2002 Error When Connecting to Datacenter

    I've been trying to connect to the Primal Datacenter before even getting to character select or a queu, and every time I do I get a lobby error 2002. I've had reports that other people are able to log in fine, I've tried logging in a couple of times, closing and reopening the game.

    I have a couple of other things I'd like to try but I thought I'd post here and see if someone might have had a similar issue recently and know how to resolve it.

    I'll keep this thread updated.

    Edit: I've tried restarting my PC, restarting my ISP router and changing data centers to see if that might fix the issue but for whatever reason I'm still getting the 2002 error. I don't even make it to character select, it just kicks me out before I can even get in. I know the servers are up and I know people are able to log in. It's just weird that I'm not able to log in at all.

    I pretty much see this for like a minute then it kicks me out with a 2002 lobby error. I'm going to try restoring game files from the launcher, I don't know if that'll help at all, if it doesn't I guess I'll try and like... Reinstall?

    I really don't want to reinstall but I guess I have too, I've been having the same issue overnight. I did restore files from the launcher and redownload the patches but I'm still getting the same 2002 error without ever getting to character select or any queues. It's just straight booting me out of the game no matter what Data Center I move too. I'm going to try and reinstall and see if that helps but I kind of doubt it since it seems to be some kind of network issue. I just can't believe I'm the only one in the world who seems to be having this issue... Just my luck I guess.

    Reinstalling didn't help, I'm pretty much out of options.

    On a whim I went ahead and switched my IP Address with a VPN, logged in and then logged back out and switched back to my other IP Address and now it works again so I guess it was just having an issue with my IP for some reason?

    What Platform? (Steam or Windows?)
    Wired or WIFI connection?
    Are there other programs being used when running FFXIV?
    When the disconnect occurs/How often?
    Does this only happen to one character or all characters?
