    No thanks I would rather not have this or tank stances come back. I've been with this game since Day 1 and while I used those abilities effectively it was out of necessity and not because I enjoyed them. They were needlessly cumbersome and awkward to use during encounters and sometimes they wouldn't respond when you tried to disable/enable them.

    This game has scaled Healer dps to work with other stats and not Int so it's a pointless ability in the current state of the game.

    It swapped our mind stat for intelligence because at the time our damage spells scaled off of that. Damage in the overworld and when doing unsync is fine for the most part, so I'm not sure how useful such an ability would be if reintroduced for those purposes. If I need to deal damage quicker, I go as DPS instead of tank or healer.

    Same for tank stance.
    Cleric stance got removed while tank stance changed to be what it is today.
    Cleric stance was your DPS boost, as Kolaina said. Not a healing boost.

    Cleric Stance Off = Heals

    This was way back in ARR! I think it's fine as it is right now. We just need more spells to deal more damage instead of having useless fillers.

    Most healers can barely handle the kit they have, and don't need more kit to just sit there ignored.

    Unless someone I know is healing a duty, it's like a coin toss. 50% of the healers will let you die to unavoidable raidwides, or fail to mitigate/heal a stackup, again causing deaths on unavoidable damage. Many of these will then sit there longcasting a raise while more people die.

    Making healing any harder than what it is now would mean that you can't carry a bad healer to a clear in normal content and WAR and other Jobs will need even more self healing.

    Heck no. It was clunky and inevitably the second you swapped over someone did something stupid and was about to die and now your heals were gimped until the cooldown period passed. It greatly limits our flexibility in swapping easily from dps to healing. So no. Keep it dead.

    Up until very recently, i would have agreed completely, however i've actually swung over to wanting it back. given that jobs, particularly tanks, have so much self-heals now, healers don't have to spam heals on them. Other jobs have some degree of mitigation as well.

    it doesn't have to *greatly* limit our flexibility, especially given that typically there isn't random massive damage going out- so if necessary, you swap stance. When i had cleric stance (way back) i really don"t recall having serious issues with it.

    The only time it was good was when people would actually dodge things that could be dodged and didn't give the healer more work of turning it off, healing the stupid, and then turning it back on to get back to DPSing reasonably decently.

    As much as I personally enjoyed using it, and practicing the stance dance(still miss the dance on tanks...), the majority of people won't be able to handle it.

    Gods no. Cleric Stance can stay in the grave SE put it in. While I have no problem with stance dancing, Cleric Stance itself was clunky and often more trouble than it was worth. Due to server ticks it would often times refuse to turn off when you needed it to go off, and as others pointed out it ate up gcd which made healing during times when things go south insane. All it did was give the illusion of difficulty due to having to work around a poorly designed concept. I'd rather SE raise the amount of group and tank damage taken to scale better with all the self healing that classes have now to make healers actually heave to heal.
