Hello
Does anyone know why it takes so long to get a group now with the duty finder since Endwalker ?
Before the release it was very fast to get a group, even for a DPS.
Did they split the population ?
Thanks !

The newness has worn off, so there is going to be an expected drop off of players.
Today i waited 80 min in OC for a ranthalos group.. well at the end i cancel it cause it was impossible to find one...
There are a lot of factors - which duty and time of day can also make a big difference, not just role. High level trials tend to have a longer wait time than low level dungeons, as an example. Peak hour queues when more players are online will tend to go faster than off peak hour queues.
I wouldn't recommend trying to get a group for Rathalos via Duty Finder since it's rather obscure crossover side content a lot of players either don't know about or don't care about.
Your best bet is to grab a friend or two and run it unsynced. Normal can easily be solo'd unsynced at 90. EX can also be solo'd at 90 but takes some practice.
You're definitely going to be running at a disadvantage getting groups for non-MSQ content via Duty Finder right now being on the new data center. The populations there haven't built up enough yet and much of it is new characters that won't have access to higher level content for a few months and likely won't be taking much interest in side content until after reaching level cap.
Ah ok. I didnt know i can Join the duty solo. I will try
