Home World Transfer Question about Tonberry

Hi there,

I'm pretty new here, and I got very excited that the Home World Transfer opened a few days back, I wanted to transfer my Character from Ramuh to Tonberry to join my friends there. However i am unable to, because Tonberry has been really congested.

My friends asked me to try around 3am to 4am (+8gmt), to which i did, and have yet to meet any success.

Recently i saw this article: https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...a5f0c567b12427

Which states that Tonberry has been changed to a "congested" world since 24th Jan - and i am wondering is this an indefinite thing? And when will it ever change back to normal?

Please help, it'll be great to know an expected date or time-frame.

It will change back eventually, but not until the population has dropped enough. Which can take a couple of weeks or many months - impossible for us players to predict.
Any changes in status for Congested/Preferred worlds will happen together with a maintenance, and will be announced on Lodestone and in the launcher.

Any luck Sharpiee xD? I still have yet to succeed lmao. Hopefully my character restoration is successful cause i did create one toon just before Saragatanas was set to congested but my dumb self was like "You know it's the day after they released the home Transfers, so let me see if i can transfer my main" Biggest Mistake of my life...LMAO. Keep me updated if you do succeed as i shall as well

Don't bother trying to transfer. One cannot transfer a character to a Congested world, nor create a character on a Congested world. Period.
You will just have to wait until the status of the world changes, which as I mentioned earlier will be announced on Lodestone and in the launcher.

I have decided to stay cosy in Ramuh and do world visits to Tonberry whenever i want :'3

honestly i am just waiting for ffxiv to announce officially about any changes about the worlds, i stopped trying and started sleeping more :'3

They just updated server statuses like a week ago. Takes a lot longer than that for player population to shuffle around. Probably wouldn't expect Congested worlds to open up until sometime next month at the earliest.
