Polymorth and fun things to do with them

Credit to @Evergrey for inspiring me this idea.


PoTD has poms that transform you into creatures like succubus, chimera and some sort of angel.


I think such transformations will be cool to have as either:


-Fashion Accessories: you transform into creatures of choice for the sake of gpose.



-Mount: players transform themselves into mount to move or fly around (basically Lunar Whale-lite: only the mount is shown and no player display).


They can have some zero-potency abilities for flair, similar to Rolling Tankard's laser cannon.



With this, SE can add new mounts/fashion accessories, whatever they want to stick with, that are transformations based on enemies/NPCs like sin eaters, Omicrons, Ea or... toads (?). The last two are already available in-game through quests.

I think it's a fun idea but I also think it would need a timer. Or be removed for duties and combat

Didn't think my comment on another thread would inspire someone this much. ^^
But yes, like I mentioned there, a Monster Polymorphs would be a neat idea to add for Halloween events just for the fun of it.
And my vision of it were that it would have the limitation that you can't do anything or the effect will wear off.
But ofc, it possible they could add some zero-potency abilities just like some mounts have for visual flavor.

Both WoW and ESO have similar systems in place, so I'd love to see it present in FFXIV as well!

FFXI has Monstrosity where you're basically the Morpher job but it's just to run around and be a monster and go rawr and you basically start as a mandragora or some such and have to work your way up to the NM type of mobs by killing other monsters.

Be a good use of majicked prisms. Some fun use of them like a minute transformation as opposed to an icon over your character. Then they wouldn’t head straight to inventory removal, for me at least
