    Reimaginging Castrum and Praetorium

    As I sit there not paying attention to the praetorium's cutscenes, I have been pondering on what steps square enix should use when fixing the 2 msq dungeons. the first change, turn them into 4 man with the 4 man leading a small 4 man militia group into the dungeons. (to cover it use to been an 8 man)

    castrum meridianum:
    - cut the entire first boss, technically the spotlight lore wise should have made it so the boss doesnt appear and we sneak into the chute as normal, cid should just appear with us after beating the 2nd boss who is now the first boss encounter of the dungeon

    - either get rid of the vuln up boss, or let the 4 npc attack the untargetable adds with cid for an optimal time per boss encounter

    - keep the last half of the dungeon similar including the mech livia phase with some minor adjustments and the dungeon with cutscene wise is about 20 - 30 mins long

    Praetorium (lol its going to be a tough cookie to cut down):
    - similar to CM, instead of random npc joining the fight, have notable characters who was in the praetorium join us from the beginning until the fight before nero (from raubahn to a young valdeaulin)

    - first half leading up to the first boss can be normal but adjusted

    - remove the entire 2nd trashpull and have someone hack the elevator into the mechroom without the key and proceed to nero as normal but with adjustments even buffing the mechs to make the dungeon even faster

    - honestly with those adjustments praetorium with all of the cutscenes and mech adjustments should be 20 - 30 mins depending on squad and ilvl

    in conclusion: if done correctly prae and castrum become a 4 man dungeon, it leads the way for the other msq crucial dungeons to join into the roulette for the the same amount of xp (i would honestly keep this as the highest roulette to give xp)

    new msq roulette:
    castrum meridianum
    Praetorium
    The Aetherochemical Research Facility
    Ala Mhigo
    Amaurot
    The Dead Ends

    with optional maybes :
    keeper of the lake
    baesar's wall
    ghimlyt dark
    paglthan
    etc...

    I hope everybody liked my concept, lol i hope i get good feedback on it...might be faster without cutscenes too but if they keep it, it would still be an optional time for the new gamer on the go!

    cut Ultima Weapon into its own trial. Gaius should be the last boss of Praetorium.

    No no no no no no no. This would be a massive waste of development time. If/when they make another adjustment to these instances they need to make the only change that actually fixes all the issues. They need to turn them into solo instances. You go in with scions and/or GC members. Strip Ultima out to be an 8 man trial completed afterwards, and then finish the 2.0 story with another solo instance for the Laha fight(amp it up if you like). Since these are no longer group instances, they can set the cutscenes to be skippable again if they want since it will no longer be an issue of other players pressuring new players to skip. Then they can delete the MSQ roulette since there would no longer be a niche for it. Problems solved.

    both are ideas were taken into the future of prae and castrum! so gg!
