Xbox Series X/S controller Bluetooth Integration with PC client.

    Heya folks.

My wife got me a new controller for Valentines day and it came early. This was to help with the dongle i am tired of dealing with with my gaming laptop.

I was searching for solutions trying to figure out my problems and I found this archived post from 2020.

    https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...-PC-(non-Steam)

I noticed how the bug is still in game (Controller drift and unable to go RT -> LT or LT -> RT). I of coursed fixed the mapping problem. Also checked it in some Ubisoft and Steam games and it works fine.

Do we have any work arounds besides "don't use the bluetooth feature direct to the pc" or "Plug it in"? I was hoping to not have to deal with the dongle anymore. And yes, plugging in the controller directly or using the Xbox Receiver Dongle does work.

I would like to also know if Square is planning on putting this on "A list" of bugs to work on, or if it is already there then great.

Thanks for the great game, Was a bit disappointed when the controller didn't work as i was hoping for.

the Series X controller reports as a standard Xinput/Xbox control to the game and configuration is exactly the same as the Xbone controller when using official dongles, the real issue is signal interference and loss with unofficial connectivity and firmware problems with bluetooth.

The official mediatek dongles using driver 21.50.45.656 also seems to suffer from both this and sporadic disconnection(control turns off) compared to the later ones that use 1.0.46.1.

The former uses the legacy NDIS architecture while the newer driver uses the lighter weight NetSetup architecture,

Support for bluetooth connectivity is not on Square enix's end to resolve, its a platform wide issue unfortunately.
