    Markets suggestion

I dont know if someone has propossed this before, but could make it so ward taxes apply dependin on the nation? Example:

Gridania: Woodcutters & Tanners Row be Free of taxes for this nation.

Ul'Dah: Jewelers, Chirurgeons, Masons & Clothiers Row be Free of taxes for this nation.

Limsa Lominsa: Grocers & Ironmongers Row be Free of taxes for this nation.

Battlecraft, Spellcraft, Field Craft, Tradescarf, Armortifiers, Crystaliers, Lower/Middle/Upper Tailors Ward remain unnafected and apply same taxes rules in any nation as how they do right now.

This way be a reason why to set Retainers in such areas and so people dont centralize in Ul'Dah.

Of course it implies the "free taxes" apply only for those nations instead the current peer row on all nations. But i think it would help set an order and balance and make people move their retainers from Ul'Dah wich would be main reason for this change.

I really don't see why they'd need to decentralize the market away from Ul'dah anymore. One of the only issues is the amount of space available in the wards and that wouldn't require anything but an increase in the number of wards. The reason people stay in Ul'dah now has little to do with the market but instead its where all the shouts are. The biggest annoyance with the wards now is that they don't allow you to see or buy anything but the cheapest 20 items without going into the actual wards themselves. That could be fixed that with the ability to scroll through pages of the item.

Ul'dah is centralized because it has access to both other city regions without having to teleport or use an airship. Prior to airships being added, you could not go from La Noscea to the Black Shroud on foot without having to go through Thanalan first.

Jeuno from FFXI was the dead center between Bastok, San d'Oria and Windurst.

Until the world changes, don't expect much to change with the player base. The standards have been set.

They could just reduce the ward capacity now that you can dispatch to any city's ward from anywhere. Then the goods would end up more balanced across the space.

This is true, they should have set the map up so that Ishgard was in the centre and the three cities around it, similar to how Jeuno was.

Even with the changes its unlikely Ishgard will move place lol so there isn't much chance of that happening

They need to randomly place retainers in any of the three city wards IMO.

Except it doesn't look to me like Ishgard is going to be the Jeuno of this game.
