What bingo? It’s no different than an ability being bound to a key on your keyboard. It’s just bound to your mouse instead and, like a keyboard or controller, you just know exactly what is going to happen when you press a specific button. It’s efficient and entails minimum movement.

As for the use of shift/ctrl/alt or whatever you want, it is pretty much equivalent to someone firing abilities from a keyboard. Personally I put the abilities that are used more the most often on the top bar, with the dots and abilities that are used every 60 secs or so and shields as well as movement impairment/interrupts on the last one.

This kind of stuff is partly the reason why I noped the he k out of endgane content. The GNB opener/rotation is like a 40+ button sequence or something.

Practice it again and again and again until it becomes muscle memory, until you only need to glance at your hotbars to figure out where you are in your rotation

Present. I hate it but for me it's too many skills to use keybinds for, plus old MMO player habit, so eh. And I know many others who do the same.

To OP, kudos for all the effort. And don't listen to people telling you to use controller or bind differently, whatever works for you is good. Each person's hotbar layot and keybinds tend be very personal and not make sense for someone else, but it's you it needs to work for, not others.

I feel as though if you understand how each ability works (reading the tooltip and thinking logically), you will naturally do your abilities in the "correct" sequence without needing to memorize.

See, THIS is what I like. Maybe it's because I'm not really a numbers guy, so the OP's picture was overwhelming. But to me, this would be much easier to digest and put into practice, even with a gaming mouse. Anything more is just unnecessary in my opinion. They are free to do as they wish, but I can't help but feel that they are putting in the work for something more complicated than it needs to be.

Listen, I don't know if this is the best way for me to learn and memorize an opener, but It's working for me so far. I just wanted to share with you guys a little bit of the madness that is going on with me, and perhaps hear your own strategy for learning this kind of thing.
