I would advise not trying to remember a complex chain of key presses, but keeping it simple, even if you have the same thing on your hot bars 2 or 3 times. Also I wouldn’t worry about perfectly executing anything because stuff happens/mobs move/mobs die mid combo.

Boils down to: got meikyo? Use meikyo. Got kenki? Use kenki.

Long version:
My setup on SAM is: (mapped to numpad)

Showing single target for reference, AoE is the similar but there’s a bit of juggling the buffs in your opener)
4-5-6 Gekko
Ctrl+ 4-5-6 Kasha
Alt+ 4-5-6 Yukikaze (5 and 6 are both yukikaze)
(4 is the same in all 3 sets)

+ is Kaiten (boost dmg)
Ctrl+ 0 is Meikyo
0 is both iaijutsu and tsubame (macro)

That’s the base GCD stuff; oGCD is mostly in my 1-2-3 area; AoE 7-8-9

In practice:

(Weave Kenki as it is available)
Alt 4-5 > +, 0 (apply dot),
meikyo > 6, ctrl 6, alt 6 (get 3 sen)
+, 0, +, 0 (2x midare)
Repeat meikyo step
Repeat 2x midare
Spend meditation points.

Then…
Do 1 long 4-5-6 set or reapply dot until meikyo is available
Repeat meikyo/midare.
I actually really like the way you have this set up so you're only having to push a couple of buttons in order to apply sen, plus you still have real estate to have your ogcd buttons without modifiers, and a macro for iaijutsu. It seems really compact and effective, whereas I am moving my fingers all over my mouse and have much more opportunity to make mistakes. I will have to steal that.
