    Demi-Ozma mount music

I apologize if I put this in the wrong part of the forum, I couldn’t find a mount section. Demi Ozma is one of the coolest mounts in the game. Is it possible for the devs to change the music on it from the default flying mount music to the boss theme from Baldesion Arsenal?

That's an FFXI track if i recall and in other SE projects prior to XIV and including some of the collab content within XIV, the music being licensed might be ultra specific in where it can be used. I recall in a Live Letter over the many years where YoshiP said something to that effect when they would have a XIV arrange of a prior FF song featured in XIV. Though that isn't the case with the Baldesion Aresenal music, as those are unaltered from FFXI's Chains of Promathia OST, but there might have been similar "you can use these tracks in this way" sorta clauses.

Not that it's impossible for them to do so but they would have to ask permission first from the respective parties involved (to my knowledge at least). There's also the possibility that because its a mount based on a FFIX boss it wouldn't have fit to use a FFXI track for its BGM, so it could have been as simple as that. At any rate all that I've put forward is simply conjecture but I do know the music licensing even within the FF game franchise can get really weird.

As I've heard it, it's less about music licensing, more that each zone has a limited number of soundtracks that are available to play. Is why many mounts use generic music.
