That reminds me… We still don’t know what experiment was done on him by Emet Selch as a child (Fandaniel hints it may have been what caused the dreams of the Final Days.) Considering what Emet did to Vauthry… i’m going to assume it was messed up. He gave the Resonant to Fordola, someone he clearly likes. His brain is so messed up he truly sees these things as a gift. I just want to know the truth about Zenos, because we don’t know everything yet.

I will mention 2 other points in support of him returning...
Even though it was back in Stormblood, his mention of binding with a primal is of great note. Until Endwalker, when we basically realize that we have been serving a primal all along, we saw primals as a threat to the world and sought to eliminate them. Now we are using them to help us, and his knowledge of binding them for our bidding, I believe could come in handy down the road.
Also his fabricated Echo has not been put to full use. We've got a couple of soldiers running around with it, as well as Zenos himself, but being the master-mind behind it all, it would be a shame for him to die off before it comes to full fruition.

I think Zenos is a full on Ascian at this point, at least according to several characters, and they can’t be killed without white auracite. Instead of killing him using this, i’d much rather put his talent/strength to good useI will mention 2 other points in support of him returning...

the only reason i like zenos is because when confronted about all the atrocities he had committed he more or less said "... yes? i don't remember denying this. what, do you want me to lie so you can sleep at night?"
the complete and utter lack of denial was good even if i found him more like a creepy stalker who couldn't catch a hint rather than any actual rival.
also one of his attacks is called 'tryst' which in my opinion makes him the villainous bisexual icon the star both needs and deserves.
emet-selch felt more like the lovechild of Q from star trek combined with jack sparrow and later on you find out a lot of that was simply due to zodiark's influence combined with the fact that he -tried- to hang out with the gross little squidgy mortals only for them to murder his kid.

Emet's bewilderment when we tell him of Zodiark and the Final Days is so very heartbreaking. Enthralled by Zodiark, we don't actually get to interact with the Hades that has a will of his own until Elpis, and he's like, "WHAT? Forsake my brethren? Insult the memories of those sacrificed by recreating Amaurot in an ocean? Genocide!?" Then we find out this Hades is actually fond of us, though of course he would never admit to that.emet-selch felt more like the lovechild of Q from star trek combined with jack sparrow and later on you find out a lot of that was simply due to zodiark's influence combined with the fact that he -tried- to hang out with the gross little squidgy mortals only for them to murder his kid.
It's like, crap! We already had a ton of reasons to love you Emet. But nope, he wasn't done yet.
Ugh

Agree. I love how they developed Emet's character. Maybe they will do something like that with Elidibus since we will get to know him and his son further through the Pandemonium storyline.Emet's bewilderment when we tell him of Zodiark and the Final Days is so very heartbreaking.
