    Remove Battle Reward Tokens from Volatile Inventory

    Hello Forum Mods, GMs, and Devs;

    I'm here to vent my immense frustration at the fact that you the Dev team still insist on not putting TOKEN DROPS from trials and raids into currency or key items instead of the normal volatile inventory. I just lost my two discal tomestones at some point in the last week or so probably during one of my inventory clean ups while trying to level crafting and gathering up. Despite my having contacted support when I noticed they were missing and my having stated I've cleared Pandemonium 4 both weeks since it released (hence 2) I was told nothing could be done, most likely because I don't know exactly when it actually disappeared.

    I was half tempted to post this in the BUG section however knowing the self righteous personality that devs & engineers tend to have I figure I'll probably be told that it's not a bug it's a "Feature". HERE'S THE THING ABOUT THAT THOUGH: You time locked this content. I'm on a savage raiding team. Unless I was a Hard Core savage raider and able to get my team to down P4s in a farm-able repetition your design and lack of help have now put me two weeks behind schedule of being able to assist my team further with passing these fights.

    I'm pretty sure this concern has been raised to you before but continuing to do nothing on this calling it the player's fault is hubris. You've intentionally made inventory so finite to encourage additional purchase of space, I myself have purchased 4 additional retainers. These time locked tokens however should not be treated as normal items given the fact that you can't simply go farm more that week if you lose them and you've already set a precedent for this with the beast tribe tokens, removing them from volatile inventory and establishing them in the nonvolatile currency inventory (and they were only time locked to 3 per day).

    There's absolutely no reason for you to not designate these either currency or key items (or even a new category under collection) unless your intention is to harm your player base's experience when trying to explore all content in the game as you so like to encourage in your player addresses.

    If you want an answer, I can give you an estimate.

    The reason why the token system exists as items comes largely down to how character data (i.e. everything tied to you) is handled. With exceptions such as Beast Tribe currencies since there is a finite number of Beast Tribes per expansion, rolling basically every Totem and Raid token into a currency tab now means the server handling character data (which already is storing a lot of data for each individual character) will have exponentially more currencies to keep track of, meaning more storage is needed.

    Now extrapolate this to every single player playing the game requiring this data being tracked for being in a currency tab and you potentially have a ton of more character data stored, even if it is empty - assuming it is coded this way, which I'd absolutely believe since the engine is actually a bit old. Either way, yes you could absolutely just expand data capacity by getting bigger / better / more hardware, but not right now and definitely not for free. You buying retainers should know this better than most, that additional storage of anything isn't free and can't be made out of thin air.

    To your loss of the tomestones - nothing you can do, tough it out with HQ Crafted weapons if you don't have the P4S weapon yet. Bad inventory management is entirely on you and noone else.
