I would love to travel to one and get to meet you all wonderful people.
I hope this is something that you all are interested in.
I have been on several con's among them Blizzcon and ccpcon and had a great time and I'm sure you all would have a lot of fun to.

we do have one, its called the "fanfest"
usually one in Japan, one in Europe and one in the Usa.

There are 3 fanfests prior to each expansion. Those are ff14 specific conventions. Keep an eye out for them in 18 months.

In addition to the fanfest for 14 in the past we have had things like Eorzean Symphony in the past for people who like the music.

I think that SE games are far too different, it's not the same as with Blizzard.
SE puts out a lot of generic NA AAA '' cinematic experiences '' games too they're not just making Japanese games and even with the Japanese games there's not necessarily a whole lot of overlap.
But when you add all of it into the mix there's even less.

Blizzard games all have that same Blizzard feel, even if you don't like todays Blizzard that's still true at least in the sense that the games they put out today still feel like they're from the same company.
But with SE?
Not much in common between games like Marvel Avengers, Forspoken and Nier or FFXIV.
