So no different from 72-player frontline? Whichever team gets more players who are there to actually try and not "lol, free half-a-level" wins as it is.The issue with 24 and if it's in a roulette as is the case now is that you feel the weight of one person much more. Meaning that in such a content with so many people who have no clue what they're doing, I fear it might become the rng of who gets the more competent/engaged players with them.
Of course, but with bigger numbers things are evened out. And you'll often have at least a few good people to play with.
It was maybe an issue when you could premade a 8man team for 24 frontline and just stomp the other team. But they enforced freelancer queue system the same patch they only allowed 72 pops, weird move, as freelancer would have fixed that issue for 24.
who cares its pvp, either you get good or you keep losing - even with premades you wont always win, especially on maps with importance on pve objectives like shatter
People care since it's pvp, even if it's a minority. And 72 players add a lot of variables where premade groups have less of an impact thankfully.
Agreed. Premade groups would a disproportionate advantage. With 72 players you never know what kind of group you’ll have. Sometimes you get lucky and there’s good coordination but there’s also many groups where people run like chickens with their heads cut off, fighting in fragmented groups in the middle of nowhere, ignoring objectives or completely running away from the objective whenever they are attacked instead of trying to push.
