You know I was kind of expecting people to bash me on stating we need harder content in the normal mainstream for the lower levels, but I guess everyone just feels that way after getting crystal tower so much in the Alliance roulettes. I mean the dungeons ramping up in difficulty seems fine, I just think the scaling of the difficulty needs work. This also makes sense since it hasn't been the biggest target on the developers radar right now.

There may be more we are unaware of. Most people don’t know about delubrums enrage on the 4 knights boss. But I’ve seen it. People were more concerned arguing over an “early pull” than pressing their buttons that the boss enraged and did an aoe that 1 shotted the entire alliance

I actually saw it thanks to EW release. I was in a sad sad 7 man delibrum DF (not even 8 for the full party), so after a lot of effort, right before we could kill the 4th knight, it enraged and wiped us lol.

And btw, the first dps check in a trial was Nabriales, then Steps of Faith.

Casual content doesn’t have DPS checks and if they do it’s too mild to notice

Square Enix certainly can install some sort of DPS checker to ensure high end game process smoothly.
It is not like they haven't done it before (Maat from FF11, especially lvl 70 limit break quest has locked a lot people into lvl 70 for 1 or 2 years)

They can, they wont, and their reasons for not doing so have been stated repeatedly. Im really not sure why people cant, or wont, accept this.

Because theyve invented a game that revolves around doing a certain amount of dps within a certain amount of time. If you're not going to give players an accurate way to measure their progress and dps, how do you expect them to improve or know when theyre doing something wrong? If they didnt design content around this, i would agree, but the fact is theres multiple instances of content that requires you to dps accordingly. Why people wont accept it is most likely because people want to improve yet arent really given any accurate tools to do so in game.

This has to be the fourth or fifth time I have said this but: You ARE permitted ( grey area here ) to use it FOR YOURSELF. YOU HAVE a method you CAN use it to improve yourself

If you are running a parser to help your own improvement, grats, well done, more power to you. Have fun.

Why people wont accept it is most likely because people want to improve yet arent really given any accurate tools to do so in game.

Parsers have a long and storied history of flagrant abuse and misuse. Yoshi and his team DO NOT want to see that toxicity in FF 14. Neither do I ...having had a gutful of that back in another MMO. Their policy is clear cut, specific and has valid reasoning behind it. I agree with that policy 100%.

You DO have a tool to measure your own performance. You do NOT have the right or license or permission to use said tool to "correct others" or " to educate them". If they wish help, they will come to you, or to others.
