    Emote "/grovel" Flavor Text Correction

I noticed that the /grovel uses the flavor text "You grovel shamelessly before [Name]."

Shouldn't it be 'shamefully', not shamelessly? You'd grovel due to being shameful not being brazen or boastful, i.e. without shame/shameless.

Think at it more on the lines you are groveling before someone because you have no shame in yourself doing so, so shamelessly groveling.

You are groveling without shame. As in you feel no shame for groveling to get what you want.

Begging for something (grovel) properly uses shameless, an apology would be shameful.

Then it is still wrong. In the Japanese it is used as an excessive apology
I never understood the grovel emote, but I learned in this community, when you wipe more than once, and apologize more than twice,
Eventually you use grovel to express your shame in your output.

So then the english is different?
The Japanese is: ”Gets down on his knees" so to say which ... has no context "why" so it is weird indeed

"Shamelessly" refers to the act of groveling, not to the reason you are groveling. You may be ashamed of some action you performed that calls for an apology; that's fine. But the groveling itself is shameless because you have decided there is nothing wrong with grovelling at this point to express whatever you wish to express, whether that is genuine remorse for the earlier shameful action or feigned remorse because you just want to get something out of someone.

Yes, English use of 低頭する (flat low head) is culturally different, which is why the wording has been localised correctly rather than just translated .

Giving it the same meaning as Japanese would be incorrect.

One of those little nuances between different cultures, that the localisation team are so good at.

I think you need reading glasses.
You are being petty and starting to harass in this way, stop the off-subject pettiness, and keep to topic on the subject.
Also, I never said anything about translation, so please. Stop being a bully, and grow up.

...how were they being a bully? That was a pretty neutral answer.

Shameless = lack of shame = you feel no shame for doing X.

To grovel shamelessly = you feel no shame when groveling.
