This is exactly the kind of thing a holiday event should have -- a fun, unique, thematic mini-game activity. It's not dependent on role or level. You can do it multiple times if you want extra stuff, but it's not something you have to grind over and over to unlock the "good" thing. I don't actually like any of the rewards and have no use for them, but I'll overlook that as it is personal preference. I still give this holiday a "thumbs up" in concept and would like to see the model in future seasonal content. I do NOT want to see another holiday where all you do is complete a short quest where you talk to NPCs, or do a FATE.
If you'd twist my arm for things I don't like about it, I would say that I don't like the feeling that I can simply jump in, get all the rewards in an extremely short burst, and then completely ignore the event. I only ran the instance twice and that was enough to get every glamour item. It feels like "Well, I did it. Now this holiday has no appeal or purpose to me anymore." I'm not asking for a repetitive grind or anything, but I would like an incentive to come back and engage with the holiday festivities for more than one day. Maybe the rewards cost a bit more of those Pumpkin Cookies, but you get a bonus amount from the mini-game once per day, so it's better to not spam the content and instead play it a bit at a time at your leisure.
Alternatively, I think it would be neat if there were a universal "Holiday Ticket" currency on the side that you can get once daily, which is transferrable toward rewards for other special seasonal event items. So, even if you have everything you want from this holiday, there's still a reason to go back and participate each day because it can help you out for future events. I don't want to encourage the pressure to grind content repeatedly over and over, but it gives players a reason to come back: if they enjoy the mini-game but either have everything they want or just don't like the rewards, this still gives us a reason to keep participating.
Lastly, I have to say I don't understand what the purpose of this Haunted Mansion thing is. It seems like you get placed in Haukke Manor, with one NPC who lets you change form into another character, and...? What? What are we supposed to do there? I only went in once and couldn't find anything to do or interact with. There was a skill on my hotbar to alert characters about something, but I couldn't find a use for it. Is there an event that happens here? I really don't get it.
