    I've done about 75 matches of Frontline and the Limp/Heavy skill seriously ruins it

    This is the only PvP I've done (queues and lack of intuitivity) in order to get those decreasingly delicious Wolf Marks (surprised to see nothing new added in 6.0 along with the Gold Saucer- these are supposed to be special places to get special things and nothing ever really gets added) and while for the most part it's a reasonably enjoyable spamfest of battle skills, one standout is that being inflicted with Limp/Heavy by another player is symbolically also putting that same affliction on the game mode itself. It's so annoying to be anchored down to such a slow speed (often down to the luck of being targeted and picked out of the crowd by a player on the other team) to the point where it can guarantee you being KO'd, and it's such a cheap thing to have in PvP that lowers the skill ceiling.

    It's comparable to having your keyboard/mouse/controller unplugged temporarily (or unplugging the other player's k/m/c). It wouldn't be as much of a problem if mounts were disabled but I figure that's not an option as disabling mounts would likely break Frontline. Just please remove the Limp/Heavy inflicting skill, I'd sure most would find PvP more enjoyable without it.

    Nah, I disagree. Remember that you can mount up even when in combat unlike wow where you have to be out of combat to mount. There has to be some sort of penalty for it because people shouldn't be able to just mount during combat and ride away.

    Limp is one of the greatest features of frontlines that makes positioning important and prevents simply rushing in and out without consequences. Observant players will have an edge in controlling points of passage.

    It rewards observation and anticipation, and it punishes tunnel vision. It's also very easily avoidable.

    No way. You'd never have fighting again if someone could just run in, use their burst, and mount out safely. Rinse and repeat every time all of their stuff is back up. It's already bad enough with people hit and running because of the disengage actions that many jobs are still allowed to have for whatever reason.

    Doesn’t that make the solution to provide the same limit as in normal combat, prevent combat mounting? A simple no interaction for 5 seconds would suffice fine, and OP’s observation solution would be an acceptable change. I agree with him anyway. After many years not playing at all, I came back to try PvP, and the heavy thing into a McGangbang does seem to be a bit of a dice roll.

    Sorry, I completely disagree. They've already taken away so many crowd control effects due to whining from people who barely play PVP. Heavy needs to stay.

    I don't mind limp/heavy, but I detest how quickly players can move between objectives. It ruins any semblance of flow.
