    Agreed. Clipping isn't the end of the world. Viera obviously should be a higher priority than Hrothgar due to the popularity ratio, but they should not get left out in the cold either. I think that Square should at least make the 'open face' type helmet gear fully compatible with Viera and get around to the fully enclosed no-face headgear (no visor) later.

    Edit: perhaps to make it easier for Square to 'compatiblize' the gear and streamline things, I think they should focus first (as a kind of 'phase 1') on all existing special event/armiore headgear, plus all blue rarity 'traditional and artifact' type headgear (both augmented and non) that exists for each job plus the blue tomestone headgear for 50/60/70/80/90. Making this more important limited selection of headsets compatible first, in one patch, should thus make it possible for Square to rework these for Viera and Hrothgar simultaneously (thus avoiding playing statistical favourites with Viera over Hrothgar).

    Then sometime later on they can work on normal (grey) and dungeon (green) headgear. This should cut the overall 'backlog' into at least three thirds (and thus 'phases') and at least give us something in the near future. I actually think the vast majority of people would accept all sub-level 50 common (grey/no-colour rarity) headgear being cut from the compatibility 'backlog' altogether if we got all the blue and green rarity headgear done (and eventually lv50+ common grey headgear), that would be fine.
