Hey howdy folks, nice to see you all and hope you're having a lovely day; our FC, Trillium, is finally opening recruitment. ^_^

To start I'd like to clarify, I do mean opening recruitment; we've gotten things running, but there were things going on IRL that meant I wasn't in a position to dedicate my time to it properly. So we're looking for folks who are down to basically be there at the very start. We currently have two active players on Mateus, along with a fresh sprout who will be joining once the world transfer service is open. We have a legacy player who pops in from time to time, but his main is on Sarg and he mostly came in to help me get things rolling, so he sort of comes and goes.

So, we're a Rank 24 FC with a small house in the Mists. Since we haven't really gotten members yet, we also don't have any airships or submersibles, but we have the workshop ready. We have the basics in the yard, a chocobo stable and a little garden plot.

We plan on running all of the usual events that people can expect from an FC once we have the members to be able to. So we want to have maps, raids, mount and minion farming, and eventually groups for high-end content for the folks interested in that. We're also are also open to players who are more laid back, perhaps enjoy RP, glam, or just hanging out more. We'd like to have a Gold Saucer night and monthly FC events, along with things like movie nights, etc. on Discord for members outside of the game, and would be open to hearing any ideas folks might have for things they would like to see.

Besides that, we have sort of a goal; basically, we aim to be a mentorship guild. By that I don't mean "You gotta be a mentor"; what I mean is that we want to be a group of players who actively take the initiative and put in the effort to help sprouts and newcomers.

Basically, members would have the choice to opt-in to one of two tiers, of either mentors or apprentices. The tiers would work together, with more experienced players teaming up with newcomers to help them get the hang of their jobs (ex; a WAR main could opt in to taking a sprout MRD as their apprentice), learn the ropes of content they may not know yet, etc.

Our other goal would be to go and seek out chances to help new players. We wouldn't expect anyone to put aside their own gameplay or any of their real life demands for this, naturally, but we're hoping that the folks who choose to look into us understand that would be part of our deal. This would include things like running aether current taxis to help new folks get their flight faster (mounts would be provided for that, of course), running PF opportunities for earlier content that we may not need, but that earlier players may be struggling to find people for, etc.
