    I love Blue Mage for what it is, but...

    Can we please, as a Blue Mage, be able to enter duties without without a full party? This is so I could try to do those solo by using Basic Instinct and finally be able to complete the Blue Mage Log objectives.

    I've been trying and it's nearly impossible to get people via the party finder to tackle specific stars. And when you finally get someone, they end up leaving when nobody else shows up. And that is for the 4-mans, the 8-mans are even harder to form a group.

    You can enter duties without a full party.

    Open Duty Finder, go to the gold bar at the top and click the gear icon. Select "Unrestricted Party" and "Level Sync". Confirm and queue up.

    IIRC that doesn't give you BLU log credit, which is the issue the OP has.

    Exactly, this is the issue.

    Technically they could just make the combination of thoe "Unrestricted Party" + "Level sync" options count for the log, and it would be all good.
