Any other PC players having trouble with controllers occasionally dropping inputs?

yes...I blame server lag because my ping to the server is very good. it's on their side not ours.

I used to have an issue where the thumbstick movements would jitter a lot and i would sometimes just stop moving for a second all together.

I think it was caused by some cable interference, because i operate with a wired controller.

The servers are so bad, I get dropped inputs on keyboard. This is a server side problem specially if you get any sort of lag.

The Controller problems are independent of server lag. I see them at all times of the day, like at 7am when there is virtually nobody on the servers.

I'd wager some of these problems is because of integrated motherboard Bluetooth chips and the computer case interfering with the signal. You're either gonna need an external dongle or an antenna, and if your motherboard came with a Wi-Fi antenna, it should also act as a Bluetooth antenna as well.

No, not at all. I'm having the exact same issue ever since EW dropped and I use a wired controller

This also happens without any wireless connections. My PC doesn't have any built-in BT or WiFi chips.
The effect started with EW, esp. the last patch.

I've noticed something similar with mine: I'm flying through an area holding the thumbstick forward to move and suddenly my character stops like she's hit a wall. I have to release the thumbstick and input the entry again to get her moving.

Nothing has changed and it seems that my inputs are being recognized almost all the time now. I think it really was a server related issue and not their gamepad support. Either that or winter is hard on many of us and we lose packets due to it. Could be anything outside causing the issue like a bad splitter, breaking node, damaged cables if it's not fiber etc...

Maybe there are different issues at play, but I'm pretty sure my problem has always been caused by the device manager refreshing. You can test it by plugging in a USB device while playing. And it's been pretty persistent throughout the game's life.
