    No, didn't try 12.1. Unfortunately, the 7xxx series of cards is only supported by versions 12.2 and higher, all of which I have tried. I submitted a bug report, and had my friend do the same...so hopefully it will show up on someone's radar and be investigated. Thank you so much for your suggestions, though!

    Sadly it's all you can do atm. This issue has been going on since the 7xxx cards came out and its driver related. Ati has been rather slow addressing the issue.

    my brother too

    My brother JUST got a 7770 this week and had I known I would have suggested a 6xxx series card at least. He's been having the exact same problems you're describing. I'll get him to submit a report tomorrow and maybe we can get some more light our way...

    Thanks. The more official bug reports they have on file, the higher it will move up on their priority list. Hopefully, your brother and the rest of us with the 7xxx cards will be able to join you guys soon.

    This guy says he got 12.1 to work with his 7xxx. Gonna see if we can get it to work. Brother is still asleep right now tho lol. And I might as well get him to re-check his BIOS just in case we missed something.

    I'll check back later whether I have any news, good or bad. =)
