I have tried resetting my pc and disconnecting the firewall and antivirus. I am connected directly to my router. No changes have been made. Can't log in today all of a sudden.

Good afternoon and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
Could you try the following:
Check the following Port Ranges on your router/modem to ensure that they have been opened:
▼TCP
54992 through 54994,
55006 through 55007,
55021 through 55040
Your ISP can open these ports for you.

Sorry, I'm not a computer guru. Not sure how to do that... IDK why its my issue when i've seen other people post the same thing, and nothing has changed on my pc, and have had the issue since tuesday.
this is a long shot, but does your computer have the CORRECT date and time? sometimes, it goes out of sync, by a few days or even weeks for whatever reason (sometimes a boot error).
I'm not sure why this mis-advice is even in your notes, the only time ports cause a problem for online games is when you're hosting them and others are trying to connect you, outbound ports on most NATs are always allowed and the download is done over https 8080.Good afternoon and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Good morning everyone!
I apologize Frebant for the ongoing issue you have been experiencing. Just to confirm, are you on a Wired or WIFI connection? Are there other programs being used when running FFXIV? Have you attempted to delete the patch folder from the device? (My Documents > My Games > FINAL FANTASY XIV > Downloads > Delete patch folder [ffxivpatch]). Additionally, please make sure Internet Explorer/Microsoft Edge is up to date as the client will launch through these browsers.
Please be sure to also disable all programs/overlays running in the background (Found in Task Manager). Lastly, make sure your anti-virus software has the appropriate exceptions for Final Fantasy XIV.
Thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums!
