We're not going to have "dynamis-powered" skills except perhaps with no idea that it's what they are. (See: dancer quests in light of Endwalker.)
I don't know what kind of job it would be, but I want its role to be physical ranged.
And no, scouting does not fit dancer. Thematically, dancer is like the opposite of rogue/ninja, and that's what the idea of scouting is associated with. Dancer passes as aiming just by having a ranged weapon.






That's how it got put in aiming, yes. But throwing chakrams is a very different business to shooting projectiles from a device, and arguably closer to ninja's throwing dagger skills.
Also, from what I've played of classic FF games (III and IV) where each role can wield multiple weapons, chakrams are a weapon type used by thief and ninja.
There is overlap, and that is just how Final Fantasy works, and even aiming and scouting are related in FFXIV. That is why I think the next scouting job could be ranged physical. The idea of double voulge using Serge (Chrono Trigger), Darth Maul (SW), Zidane (FFIX) weapon type is also intriguing & one i would gladly welcome, what it's job would be, i have no idea though.
Reaper opened the door for a great many original & unique job & weapon styles & i truly am excited for what's to come.
Excluding the idea of Viking & Berserker...
We already have Warrior & a Viking without berserker skill & a skill name already in game, is just to unoriginal, redundant, & lazy.

You are essentially agreeing. Dancer should've been in Scouting, and all these calls for "pirate" or "corsair" or whatever else could've/should've been Aiming since they completely fit in with the them of, y'know, needing to aim.
No other class is cool enough to share scouting gear with NIN
Maybe another aiming or caster class next.
