I've never noticed anything terrible off about the size of the gwibbers in comparison to my bunnies. If anything, I really dislike how massive the robot one is because it feels like it covers the whole screen while moving like molasses lol

imo the newest trial mounts being ugly is far more damning their their size- heads too small, weird musculature, random floaty bits.

Venat's dog is unironically better looking than the latest line of ex mounts and holds more emotional value in my eyes. I don't even want to know what the reward for collecting them all will be. A mecha-lynx?

To me its not their size. To me the proportions.

The baby dragoons look terrible if you ride them as anything but a lala... but the mount music is soooo good. I legit only get mounts for their music

The new EW mounts just look sad based on head to body ratio... the art design team fucked up real time.

It does kinda feel like that sometimes they design a lot of "fun" items for only lalas. Then they just try to fit it for all but it does not always work...

It's so strange the art direction for armor is so consistently focused around making things look cool/sexy and they've only improved with EW, but the mount designers have the exact opposite approach, everything is some gaudy, silly-looking, lame cartoon creature. Doing hunt trains and seeing everyone on their rainbow assortment of mounts really shows just how bad the art direction for mounts is in the most purest display.

Older mounts weren't always great. The "wolf" from the ixal beast tribe is terrible. The elbst from the sahagin is also kinda love-it-or-hate-it.

I love my Dark Lanner more than any of my other mounts, but to me it seems as though the mount could stand to be a teensy bit bigger. I am a tiny Au Ra and yet I seem a bit too big for my Lanner to be able properly carry me.
