You know what's curious about those mechanics I've mentioned? A lot of them are mechanics where Magick Barrier would be used. You guys would get more sympathy if you were to stop underplaying everything SMN has and claiming an equivalent of Cure II has some raid saving capabilities.
You do know healing is painfully easy to heal in this game, right? Like over capping hp can be done with basic healing tools and medical 2 or aspect Helios is overkill in lot of cases even in prog.

That's the problem with a DPS with healing capabilities...it's ultimately worthless while mitigation can make a difference. A measly 10% mitigation in prog goes a long way to surviving raid wides.
Like even if you have a case where a war/dark/gnb inv and have their HP reduce to 1, a healer is still going to use the same resources to cap their hp. The unkindle isn't fast enough to save someone that took an additional hit.

Maybe if a WAR couldn't go brrrr with self heals and the immediate response to living dead/SB wasnt benediction and essential dignity spam, it might be useful.

Smn heals only help achieve the same results slightly faster. Like it can help with auto attacks, but if your group is getting pressed on autos, then you have a much bigger problem
