Leveling question (Possible spoilers for new players like me)

Alright, so I looked on google, but I couldnt find anything recent about this sort of thing, and for all I know I could be looking to do this sort of thing too early in the game.

I just got to the part of the game where you talk to the Gnath and im wanting to level up my other jobs that ive got to keep up with my main job. I used to be able to run a dungeon at the same level as I was and get a level in one or two runs. Now, I cant even get a level after 4 runs, I get barely even half (Give or take some)

I even tried PoTD and still the experience just feels sluggish to me. Is there a way to level up faster, or am I just stuck with the grind until after 60?

Heya recently I have noticed this also on my lower job that I did not bother with.

I would suggest you do your challenge log and hunt log and also daily duty roulette and PVP if you do that (frontlines) each reset will give you a big chunk.

I have not experienced this I leveled my Paladin to 50 just spamming leveling roulette for an entire afternoon and early levels I got like several levels in one dungeon. Only thing I find slugish is doing PotD getting to 30 is a massive pain as DPS.

With dungeons you sometimes get bonus exp if there is a member of the party new to that dungeon so you might get lucky on some runs and get way more exp than "normal".

There’s also quite a few XP increasing items

Brand new ring (ring)
Circlet of friendship (helm)
Some name I can’t remember (necklace or earring idr)
Food buffs
FC buffs.

Stacking all those definitely makes a big difference. Where you could potentially get multiple levels per run.

When you say "dungeon at the same level I was", are you by any chance level 50?

The level cap dungeons at level 50, 60, 70 and 80 don't give much exp, because when they were released they were at cap, so there was no exp to give.

Once you're past that 50-51 hump you should be getting more exp from the 51 dungeon.

That said with the stat squish and exp adjustments with EW, values may be a bit different to what you would have got before December 3rd, so it may still be a bit less.
