    Using the Windows PC character in the steam version

    Hello. I previously bought the game (Windows PC) from the official website and have made some progress with the game. Now I want to buy the game on steam. Will I be able to use my character in the steam version?

    Greetings fellow Eorzean,

    Unfortunately, the Final Fantasy XIV game client must match the same platform that it was registered for. As Windows and Steam are separate platforms, you must use the same respective platform to be able to play without issue and only 1 or the other can be registered. It is not possible to register both Windows and Steam on the same account.
