Alt Job Leveling. Not a fan.

Usually the Beast Tribes give fantastic exp. Not sure when they plan to introduce EW's beasties.

If you mean by fantastic as in better than side quest exp then yeah but thats not a very hard considering the low bar.


At OP

Alt job exp , outside of MSQ and roadto80 buff


Healers/tanks spam at your lvl dungeons in DF


DPS , if you havnt begun palace of the dead , do so , spend a day maybe less getting to floor 50 and completing it , then spam partys for room 51+

I havnt done Bozja myself ( i cant bear farming the ranks to turn bozja into a great lvl up sone for 71+) but that's awesome i hear if you have access all areas and can get around fast and do the beefier fates.


all jobs side exp >hunts at your lvl/expanson , as well as exp scaling beast tribes for your expansion lvl range (queue for daily duties in between esp msq rouls)


Thats about it i think , unless anyone has some other great exp farm pls do share

Maybe if they doubled fate xp once you've finished the msq, I could see that being worth doing fates for alts.

I got mostly what I wanted leveled. After this I just do it to kill time really. Later in the expansion it should be made much easier. In ShB we did have a mount to help encourage leveling everything though.

I wish they didn't crowd around the Aetheryte.

1-60 works well with squads. 60-71 though is terrible, wish they expanded squads to that level range.

Agreed, GC squadrons especially if you have a "team" you have previously built up to rank 6 (offensive or balanced) running other jobs is crazy fast if you run as a healer or dps . Its rather painful to over pull even just with one extra pack as a tank because SE cant be bothered to program the conjurer ai correctly .


As for 60-71 PoTD and HoH plus HW beast tribes ,daily roulettes , but like GC squadrons you need to have built POTD up to get HoH and to get POTD into farm exp mode (room 51+ aetherpool 50/50+)

I really wish NG+ gave XP rewards. Take out the item/gil rewards if they're concerned about bots, but take pity on us and let us have the XP. It's a slog as it is, and I can't imagine the majority of people would spam it for all of their extra jobs.

The trick is to run 2 ACN as dps when you're tank. They heal when your HP drops below a certain threshold, and their Shadowflare melts packs insanely fast.

With all the love and effort they put into MSQ, I wish they would let us replay some or all of it with xp to level up alt combat jobs.

Seems very weird to make us run around doing FATEs, and spamming dungeons and stuff.

Seems like a confusing waste of time, imo.

I would love to re-do the MSQ a few more times and really enjoy the brilliant storytelling, and be able to use that time to work on alt jobs.

What stopping you from just roll a new character and redo the whole story? I mean ... that's how it is with most other MMO. This game offer something unique with its multi-job system, but it doesn't eliminate the classic experience.

FYI, I have 4 alts. And a new char these days can often level 2 jobs at the same time witht how much EXP the MSQ is giving.

They do allow you to do that. New Game+ is a thing.

No reward and no Xp with NG+

It's just to redo the MSQ or job quests.

This feature was implemented because the log's inn and housing only allow to see part of the dialogues.
It was never implemented for Xp of alt jobs.

Do you want to go fast? Fate to level 81 and then dungeon. Not to mention the big Xp boost once a day via the leveling wheel.

Don't you like Fate and dungeons for your alt job? You have the secondary quests, but in limited quantity, soon will arrive the barbarian tributes.
