Some of the Binding Coils are basically 8-player dungeons, and most of Alexander has at least a short corridor with some trash mobs and/or a mini-boss to clear. They just sorta dropped the idea from Stormblood onward.

Yeah, I know. They're still in a whole different category from dungeons but I agree that they're the closest to 8-player dungeons we've had since the MSQ duo. It's a shame they turned raids into glorified trials too, some of the vistas in Coil and Alexander are really amazing and we just don't have that anymore with the floating circle/square arenas.

They should just get rid of MSQ roulette it since ones want to complain so much about it. No big loss if they did never like it after they started forcing one to watch the cutscenes. Maybe also they should fix it so do get Castrum 99% of the time and make it a 50/50 chance. Last 2 weeks I have done it I only get Castrum.

The changes that need to happen are one of two things:So, I was just subjected to the half the party leaves Castrum event and I got to say it's dumb and it should be an actionable offense besides the penalty. You willingly queued into a roulette and left when it wasn't the one you wanted. You know the risks involved when queuing into it. You are affecting other peoples experiences when you do this and then they have to requeue into it and have to wait however long it takes.
I understand things can happen and you have to leave, sometimes at the very beginning of a duty, but for those that intentionally do it, yeah you know who are, should be some form of actionable punishment.
Luckily my group just pugged it: Me as Reaper(Tank), Dancer, Ninja and Astro. It took us 32 mins to do it from start to finish with cutscenes included so no excuse as to why
So there needs to be change on some level for it whether it be an actual offense or some thing much more milder than that. I'm just looking out for other rather than myself.
Thank you for listening to my TED talk whomever you are!
-Increase exp to match Prae exp
-Convert msq roulette to single player experience
I'd be all up for option #2, tbh.
There are some seriously disturbed individuals in this game. Forget legitimate reasons for leaving an instance; who in their right state of mind would hold someone hostage in a video game of all things? People would more than likely just troll the whole thing or barely perform out of spite. Is that what these kind of people who makes these posts want? Lock people in and in turn, have an even more bad time? Why is everyone's first reaction to report players in this game. Who cares if they dropped you are literally talking about doing more work than just doing the dungeon just to report a player for leaving for what ever reason they did. For all you know they had a sudden family emergency and you are trying to get them banned. I am going to make sure to black list you so I never have to play this game with you.
People like you are a HUGE problem with this community.
Yeesh.

Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
Bro, why you want punish players for SE's poor design. In my opinion just unsynch those dungeon with a friend and problem solved. But it's perfectly acceptable in your mind to hold the 7 other players hostage in an instance while waiting for your replacement because you didn't get the dungeon you wanted.
This is the epitome of selfish entitlement.
Personally I'd increase the lockout timer for abandoning the msq roulette to 24 hours. That would go a long way towards alleviating the problem.
One person said they cleared the entire thing with only 4 people because others left, so there is nothing holding you back from doing it.But it's perfectly acceptable in your mind to hold the 7 other players hostage in an instance while waiting for your replacement because you didn't get the dungeon you wanted.

I don’t care if people leave: replacements can be found rather quickly, often almost immediately. MSQ roulette is so easy anyway, you don’t even need a full group. I usually don’t leave but I did a few times due to RL aggro.
There’s already a penalty when someone leaves voluntarily (that penalty is longer than Castrum itself). I really don’t see the point with people wanting bans for everything. It’s ridiculous. Some people need to take a chill pill. We don’t see it that often anyway now that the tome event is finished.

a 30 minute penalty is fine for leaving a 20 minute duty is punishment enough
Honestly if they wanna have it so people don't leave castrum, they just gotta bump the experience up a little more, or just add some other incentive.
Or just make them into solo trials. It's not like leveling is super difficult right now anyway. The extra experience is a nice chunk, but not super needed.

Well, can already tell you're straight up lying because regardless on if you provide irrefutable proof of a ToS break or not, GMs will NEVER tell you if action has been taken or not. In fact, their responses always straight up tell you that they cannot tell you the result.
