    Greetings fellow Eorzean,

    Based on the information provided, it appears that the graphics card drive hasn't been updated since September of 2020. Please open the Geforce Experience software suite for your GTX 970 to see if you are able to perform the update. If you are still unable to, please uninstall, download the latest driver from the nVidia web site and reinstall the video card drivers from scratch. We hope this is helpful in resolving the issue.

    Some windows fixes made the nvidia D3D11 user mode driver a bit less stable, there were also issues with the 456 packages that I had to personally submit crash traces through a contact.

    the WMV core fix is for the ARR intro video, the HW+ intros are Bink2.
