He's still alive and will show back up out of nowhere in a brand new clone body since Garlemald has perfected cloning technology and even Emet-Selch had multiple cloned bodies just laying around for him to use when he died. Not a half bad idea. Studying us to find out how he can surpass us. And we can direct that energy of his when he's around for our own purposes. Maintains the "I don't completely trust you but we're cooperating for now" idea.
