Looking for advice on issue.

So I have a weird problem..
Over the last week I have become unable to see other peoples Standard emotes in the chat. (I can see my own and both the log check box and the emote window check boxes are on so that's not the issue) I have been pulling my hair trying to figure out what's going on as I can see emote animation from other people but not the chat message.

I believe that'd be in Log filters -> Chat tab at the very bottom. It says "Custom Emotes", but you won't see people's emotes if they themselves have disabled "Display log message" from Emotes.

Some people disable the chat log message for their own emotes by using the motion argument:

/playdead motion

Sometimes people pair this with a custom emote message using the /em(ote) command.

/em falls dramatically to the ground and breathes his last breath.

Thanks Rehayem and Rongway turned out it was my regular leveling partner whom didn't have her emotes on.. Haha.
