It means literally, exactly what it says. Do the full role quest line for physical DPS which starts in the Crystarium near the Pendants in that bar area. There's a quest every other level, that starts at 70.

so what you're saying is that you ignored your role quests. and frankly, i bet you also skipped your job quests with this blasé attitude toward doing anything aside from leveling up.

To be fair, the developers told us the Shadowbringers role quests are mandatory for story completion.

After you complete Holminster Switch and return to the Crystarium, the MSQ takes you to the Wandering Stair to introduce you to the role quest NPCs (the bounty hunters who are going after the special sineaters). The game clearly warns you at that time completion of one of the roles quests will be required to continue the MSQ at a later point and it is recommended that you begin working on one of them.

The game does try to give you important information. SE can't help it when you decide to ignore it.

You're farther than you think. There's still quite a bit of MSQ content between where you're stuck and where Endwalker begins. A lot of it is very important to what is going to happen in Endwalker.

Unless you care absolutely nothing about story, I don't suggest rushing through it.

Guys, don't bother. This is the same player that complained about having to do lower level quest even though he is level 80 or so. And only because he power leveled through whatever means and didn't bother with MSQ.
